While some see yacht ownership as a luxury indulgence, it’s far from a reckless move. Instead of viewing it as a financial burden like a car or real estate, think of it as a lifestyle investment.
Here are five reasons to invest in a superyacht. Beyond financial returns, it offers peace of mind, relaxation, and quality time on the water. The experiences shared with family and friends are priceless, and the value extends far beyond monetary gain.

Featured design by George Lucian to couple air and sea. An incredible airship-carrying superyacht, ideal for a visionary Owner who would be equally passionate about yachting and flying. The aptly named ‘Dare to Dream’ yacht, currently a concept, would be built to transport a 100m (330ft) airship. The Owner of the Superyacht Airship Carrier would be able to explore new places by enjoying the calmness of an airship, or just have dinner above cosmopolitan bays, or even spend a few days flying above the Mediterranean waters, before returning, to dock the airship on his superyacht.
The airship would be tethered to the sprawling deck of the 140m (460ft) long vessel and supplied with helium by the mother ship.
My concept is inspired by the yachting industry and military vessel design, but also from the fascination that I have for the beginning of the century zeppelins that were transporting passengers across the Atlantic in a luxurious and romantic manner. Nowadays we have lost this elegance and tranquillity of traveling that the cruise liners and airships were offering at the beginning of the 21 century., says the artist George Lucian.
Bold and visionary this is my favorite design. The next one will be ‘The Unsinkable Boat’.
