Vitters Shipyard is an award-winning Dutch high-end performance yacht builder. For nearly 25 years, Vitters Shipyard has worked consistently to deliver some of the luxury sailing yachts measuring 30 meters and up, all built in the Dutch tradition. Based in Zwartsluis, the Netherlands, Vitters has established a reputation for delivering yachts of uncompromising quality and innovative design.

Founded in 1990 by Jan Vitters, the shipyard started primarily as a builder of megayacht hulls. That all changed soon after Louis Hamming joined Vitters, which at the time operated out of one small building. The company began building luxury sailing yachts, delivering its first boat, the 28-meter Aphrodite, in 1993. The 48.5-meter Thalia followed not long after, and Vitters was on its way. Vitters also expanded through its acquisition of Green Marine, a builder of carbon fibre custom racing and high-performance superyacht hulls and lightweight components founded in 1982. Green Marine currently is building the one-design fleet for the 2014-15 version of Volvo Ocean Race.

In 2011, Vitters launched the 42.60-meter sailing superyacht Sarissa, the largest carbon fibre sloop built to date in the Netherlands. Her naval architecture was done by designer Bill Tripp, while Rhoades Young Design provided the interior design. The dark-hulled, 46-metre sailing superyacht Ganesha, launched in late 2013, features a Panomax rig. She was designed by Dubois with interior styling by Newcruise.
