Previously named Salem the 86m converted giga beauty was built in 1963 by Scheepswerf Gebr. van der Werf and was totally refitted in 2017 by Devonport Yachts. The sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Scheepswerf Gebr. van der Werf, responsible for the entire engineering package. Impressively contemporary interiors are light and elegant, featuring luxurious furnishings, fine wood panels, thick carpets and timeless fixtures and fittings. Interior is laid over four guest levels with a large salon on the main ensemble with a lounge bar with a piano. Further forward, are the guest suites and the full beam Master Stateroom.
The upper deck has a second salon with an adjacent formal dining area. Additional guest cabins are located here together with the full-beam VIP cabin. On the top deck is the bridge and the fully equipped fitness gym. At the lower deck find the beauty room, massage room and guest cabins. Panoramic windows on the main and upper decks boast magnificent natural light.
The main aft deck hosts a large alfresco dining area and shade, with two tables and seating for up to forty guests. The upper deck has a partial shade, a comfortable exterior lounge space, with ample seating and tables, perfect for a social sundowner. Here the yacht also boasts a wet bar.The top deck has a deluxe Jacuzzi tub, sunpads, chaise loungers and sofa. This deck continues around the yacht on port and starboard, leading to an upper foredeck, ideal for sunning and relaxing.

As announced in September 2011 Devonport Yachts Ltd (DYL) has been rebranded to PENDENNIS PLUS. This new name captures the large yacht pedigree and know-how that DYL has added to the Pendennis Group, allowing them to offer 60m+ bespoke new build and large yacht refits by combining the skills and experience of both organizations, whilst making use of the extensive facilities in Falmouth.
Devonport Yachts have built large superyachts in England. The company
is part of a tradition of boat building at the Devonport Royal Docks which have been building and supporting The British Royal Navy for over three hundred years. Devonport has turned their experience and expertise towards designing, developing, and building superyachts for sale. Devonport Yachts and Devonport Royal Dockyard are now part of the Babcock Marine Division of Babcock International Group which provides them with exceptional financial stability. Through Devonport’s experience in designing and building luxury yachts, they pride themselves on their wholly bespoke solutions. For example, they do not use ready-made hulls or other parts in the building of their superyachts – there are no templates for them to follow.
Devonport’s two superyacht building facilities are both based in Devon, at
Plymouth and Appledore, in the United Kingdom. Due to Devonport’s long history in building and supplying boats for The British Royal Navy, they place great importance on the confidentiality of their clients’ projects and the nature of the work that they undertake for them.
